Supplies for Military
For the past several years Grace Dental Mission has been sending oral and other hygiene supplies and gospel literature to sound fundamental chaplains stationed in active combat areas around the world. These items are then given out by the chaplains to the soldiers to whom they minister. One past recipient of the items wrote, “It was a blessing to distribute the goodies to the troops around the base. I don't think it was so much the products but the fact that someone cared enough to go through the effort…” Another recently wrote, "Thank you again for your boxes. We have 16 bases where our soldiers are located. Your boxes mean a lot. Some bases, what we call "FOBs," have a very small PX or none at all. You have been a tremendous blessing."
For those who would like to contribute to this effort, here is a list of some of the items included in the packages we send. These items can be sent to the GDM office. Please be sure to include a note saying that the items are for the chaplains. Thank you for your help with this project!
Items for Military Packages:
Toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, mouthwash, bars of soap, Kleenex tissues (pocket packs), disposable razors, and antibacterial wipes. In addition, we send Gospel of John/Romans booklets, tracts specifically geared toward military personnel, pocket New Testaments, and a Gospel of John correspondence course. Any goodies you would like to send would also be appreciated, as long as they will not melt during shipping to hot climates!.
